Question

Here's the situation:
Let's say just yesterday, you FINALLY got together with this man. You've had a crush on him all year, and pursued him for months... and now, last night, you FINALLY smooched for the first time. You're on Cloud 9.

Now the question: In a few months, you were planning to go spend 5 1/2 months in another state, working a temporary job that you've had your heart set on for a long time. (a kind of dream job, at a vacation ranch.) If you do this, your brand new boyfriend will visit you for a few weeks, but you'll essentially be apart from him for about half a year. But that dream job is there...

Could you do this?

I'd go for the job, otherwise i would regret it and may end up resenting the guy for letting me miss a massive opertunity, if you guys really like eachother then try and make it work long distance.

I'd still go for the dream job because I'd wanted it for a long time and if I got it it may or may not last longer than the relationship.

I would do it. You can't put your life on hold for someone who chances are won't be around forever. The job would be an amazing opportunity especially if its something you've dreamt about doing and if they like you enough they'll stick by you no matter how far away you are, through think and thin.

I am waiting for my dream boyfriend. I just moved out of state. It could be a year(if i can visit and stay with a friend next summer) or 2 years. But we will find a way. We are waiting for each other and always will. Please answer mine? Kind of about guys but I need advice from a guy!?
