    The two never met.

Einstein came to America during that time and he renounced his German citizenship.

He never met Hitler and never wished to. He left for the USA (Pasadena) in December 1932 with the intent of returning in March 1933. However, after the Nazis grab for power in early 1933 he was wise not to return and never set foot in Germany again. Altogether about 2000 people active in the arts emigrated from Germany in 1933 and the following years. They included virtually everyone with an international reputation. Nazi anti-intellectualism was underlined still further by events in universities. Jewish professors in all fields were dismissed. Many, including Albert Einstein (as mentioned above) Gustav Hertz, Erwin Schroedinger, Max Born and twenty past future Nobel prize winners left the country. By 1934, some 1,600 out of 5000 university teachers had been forced out of their jobs, a third because they were Jewish, the rest because they were political opponents of the Nazis.

Einstein officially lived in the upscale Grunewald district of Berlin when Hitler came to power. At that time he was a visiting professor in California. . Hitler was never much of the back-slapping politician. And he certainly didn't tolerate the presence of Jews in his midst. Therefore, the chances of him meeting with Einstein were slim to none.
