A good solid education, and teach them logic and rational thinking, that way you don't need to protect them, they will protect themselves.

You should teach them about religion in a historical sense, religion does exist, but explain to them its about peoples beliefs and that they think there right even when all evidence goes against rational and logical thought.

That way the child is balanced.

Probably best to avoid the hell issue altogether till there old enough to know such things are insane.

We protect our people with education and they know hell is the grave, and xtian translators changed the text to suit their own agenda. They know your baal god jesus never existed and is a compilation of all mangods made by Caesar Augustus to keep the Roman Empire from dividing from within due to rival religions fighting.

They know the name jesus is less than 400 years old in the xtian bible. That the oldest Greek manuscripts have no name, only the Greek title meaning anointed. Iso was first used by Marcion in 140, Iao was later used and is the name of an ancient Britian crucified savior, I Zeus was also used - Greek father of gods, and Iesous was used in the original 1611 KJV and is the Anglicized version of the Greek goddess of healing. The name jesus is first used after 1630, and the Catholic church in 2009, won the right in the Malaysian courts to call jesus, Allah. The author always reserves the right to edit their own book.

They are aware that the church admitted changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday on their own authority, not any biblical mandate (Council of Trent), and that the church confessed "The christ myth has served us well."

They also know there were 16 crucified world saviors before the supposed jesus. Which is apparently more than what the xtians know about their own religion.

They know that G*D can not become a man, and men do not become gods.

They know how to identify the true Messiah from all the false ones that have appeared through the ages, and that the Roman created mangod, the compilation of all mangods did NOT qualify.

They know that xtians admit to being agents of their own Satan, by proselytizing.

That my friend isnt for u to decide at that tender age,let them find their own path, they still have a vivid imagination that needs to wonder about God!. otherwise they will end up being muslims-That is what is happening to children who have been forced by atheists parents to hate christianity & God at an early age(read why islam is rising in Uk ) -They rebel because they have a spiritaul void which would have been filled by christianity @ an early age then later becoming atheists later on in life

I liek to keep my child in a metal cage when I am not around and strictly control everything they see. When they whine about it, I just put electric current through the cage. (Sarcasm)

Come on, get over yourself and your BS holier than thou idiocy. You are as bad as the extremistic religious nuts.

You really wnat to solve your problems. Invent a time machine and go back to Stalinistic Russian or China under Mao.

Way to combat idiocy with even greater idiocy.

BTW, I teach my child how to think, not what to think. He figures out himself what he believes and does not.

Most Christians live righteous lives and are good people. if you want to protect particular religious identity in your family send your children to a religious school and socialize with people fro your religion

Try to show them exactly where in the bible it doesn't make sense, like the whole bible and they can tell the christians so the christsians can think about it a day before coming up with the answer: God can do anything.

I married a Catholic and had to sign papers (this was many years ago) promising to bring my children up Catholic. I did, and I sent them to CCD, but as soon as they came home I would unteach them everything they learned. It was all such rubbish! Angels climbing ladders to heaven...come on! When they started banning Judy Blume books (an excellent children's author) that was the final straw. Fortunately, neither of our children was too enthralled by the religion either. As soon as they made their confirmations, they stopped going to church.

Personally I want my child to come to his/her own conclusion. I wont let them have any exposure to religion as a child, and when they are old enough I'm thinking around age 15 or so. Then I'd expose them to EVERY religion and let them come to their own conclusion.
