WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTANDING THE CHRISTIAN FAITH;SOCIETY OR SOMETHING ELSE?

The Christian Faith is best when it proves Itself in action; by definitive acts of Faith, Hope and Charity but these can be found in non-religious forms by elements in Society, so my question is; does Society determine what is the Christian Faith if not why not?

The Pew Polls show 48,000 religions all "claiming" to be Christian. Obviously then, with all having different versions of faith, almost everyone of them are wrong. When we examine the Bible, we find few even coming close to recognizable being true Christians. We see the absolute evil running through our society today. From pure sadistic evil to the uncaring attitudes. What is left that is so important, even vital?

That would be the view of Jehovah God and Jesus Christ that mean everlasting life to humanity. No man or group of men can come anywhere close to that. We do not need worry about what that will of God is. It has been in written form for the last 2,000 years.

Where most of those 48,000 use their own ideas for God's will, true Christians search and find what God's view of his will actually is. Then they comply with that will and adopt his view themselves. For not every single thing is covered by name in God's Word. By making the guiding principles within God's will our own, we can use them for any unnamed circumstances.

By making this an intimate part of our lives, we are able to accomplish God's will and the work his people are privileged to be doing today. Doing so makes for what John Meyers here is asking for. With them, we find the only attitudes and actions now, which represent the rule of God's Kingdom over Earth.

Faith by works is not enough, faith through belief and a loving relationship with God will make a Christian want to show God's love to the world, and when they die they will live eternally with God as Jesus paid the penalty for our sins....read John 3:16-18

As soon as you can show me a Christian who has faith in the truth revealed by Jesus let me know,I can't find one! A true Christian would understand everything because our lord Jesus taught us about all these things.Do you think our society is a good one?Have you watched the news lately? The whole world is corrupted by the love of money, there is a price on everything, how evil and godless.

For understanding of Christian faith, we must believe and follow

Jesus Christ, and study His words and sayings, or commandments,

those things He said to do.

Actually, each of those areas: faith, hope and 'agape love' have nothing

in common with the non-religious forms.

Faith is explained in the bible, hope is actually based on belief and

is 'assurance of', and charity is actually agape which Paul explains

in 1Cor. 13 in that amazing chapter on 'love'.

Once we leave the Christian words in the original and allow

'worldly translations', then it just keeps veering away into the

world, so then it's muddy and no one can tell the difference.

As you've said, Christian Faith MUST result in action, as James

explained....Faith will outgrow into something. But God should

lead this, lead us, not we fretting and trying to prove something.

Jesus did the proving, I live in Him, and that's why it's good

    2FollowHim.

There are ALL kinds of ways that 'God' shows our faith.

There is nothing to understand about the christian gibberish, you just said it, it's a matter of faith and faith does not include understanding and reason. Here is the question that we should ask: has society really been better for the last 2000yrs because of christianity? I know this will be a surprise for you, but society owes more to Moslem's faith than to christianity. Are you familiar with this names? Gerber, Ben Musa, Alhaze, Avicenna, Avicebron; this are only a few. You will not find in christian history not even one who would dare to untied the shoes of any of this individuals. PS. I am not muslem nor belong to any faith, but I have studied and researched even those I bet you have not even heard about it. Please google this names and nearn something useful for exchange. Instead of giving me a thomb down, state your case in a way that an smart person can rely to.

when we see what is happening in our society, it is very important to keep the faith, especially as we see the Day draw near. As we are now living in the end times and satan knows his time is short, Therefore we should be standing fast and keep our eye on Christ and His saving Love.

The christian faith was made by man. Jesus saw that people were dumb enough to believe he was a messiah, and went with it. He was simply smart, not god. And at this point, i don't see God commuting here, or calling the pope on speed dial to lay down the rules. So yea, humans are just sitting around building a fabricated answer to all the worlds questions, which science turns around and proves wrong, generation after generation.
