Costs involved with type 1 diabetes?
Im 20 and was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.. I inject myself with insulin 4 times a day. With the cost of traveling to hospital visits and getting insulin(which just cost me $70) I don't have a job as I have been disrupted by my recent illness and now the difficulty of getting used to managing my diabetes. I am broke and have nothing, How the hell am I supposed to deal with these costs? It seems as if I'm being punished for having something wrong with me. It doesn't seem worth trying..

In the U.S. the monthly cost is $1240 a month.. But in Aus. don't you have govt. medical care?
You are not being punished, but BOY it sure seems that way..Get all the info you can about your disease is the first step. The less carbs you eat EQUALS less insulin you will need.(cost savings)
The next thing you need to keep a very close eye on is DEPRESSION. This is a rarely mentioned complication of diabetes.
It may seem hopeless now , but you will survive. See if you can find a group for diabetics. That way you will get first hand knowledge . Remember not all doctor know a lot about diabetes. You don;t want to start out as be close to controlling glucose levels , you want to get to the point of being right on.Complications that result in poor control are , blindness, kidney failurre, heart disease, painful neuropathy, and amputations.
Getting a job and finding a good friend will help your spirits.
Take care

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.
