I feel like everyone loves the popular dramas but the less popular dramas are way better. I've watched all the popular dramas and some other dramas so i have watched quite a lot and know which one is better than which. Everyone i know agrees that the popular dramas are overrated.

My faves:

-Giant (50 ish episodes but is my #1 favorite drama, so touching and interesting)

-Wife returns (2nd favorite, very long: 100 something episodes but is amazing, it's about revenge)

-City Hunter

-Dong Yi

-Queen of Seonduk

-Feast of the Gods (Currently watching, it will make hate the evil character but it is an amazing cooking drama)

-You are my destiny

My favorites are Your Beautiful and Coffee Prince. I also would recommend the Japanese drama Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge which may be translated as Wallflower.
