How many times can your account have a violation before you're banned from Yahoo answers?

So I recently left an answer for a question, however it was reported as a violation and subsequently the answer was removed and I was fined 10 points.

But what I want to know is how many times can this happen before you're banned from Yahoo answers?

Also, if the answer was deleted by Yahoo Canada and then I leave another answer and this gets reported as violation. BUT Yahoo Germany deletes the answer and fines my 10 points, does this count towards being banned?

There's no set amount. They are looking not just at the number of violations, but also how severe they are and how frequently they occur. One violation can do it if severe enough, but usually it's a pattern of repeat violations that causes suspension.

When you get a lot of violations, then Yahoo! will review your account and decide whether or not your violations warrant account suspension. Getting a lot of violations in a short amount of time does not bode well.

And it doesn't matter which Y!A site sends you the violation, it's still the same violation.

there is not any right quantity, on the grounds that money owed are reviewed in my view. One significant TOS violation gets you suspended right this moment with out warning. Many minor violations over a year won't get you suspended, yet those comparable violations in a pair of days will. YA has continually reported that each violation is a warning your account is under assessment and the subsequent violation might desire to be the single that places you over the precise. Suspensions are continually, except you could convince them they made a mistake in making use of the policies and which you probably did no longer violate the policies. To lose your digital mail, it would take a TOS violation, yet that could desire to be so ordinary as insulting yet another person.

The Yahoo statement is that one or more trusted reporters must report a question or answer for it to be deleted. You can appeal and if the appeal is upheld the reporter loses some credibility. It takes a number of violations to get someone suspended, the exact number would vary dependant on the severity of the violations.

They can all count however. it doesn't matter if you have been a member for a day, a week,a month or years or are a top contributor the same rules apply to everyone. It also doesn't seem to matter the number of violations but more the severity or perceived severity of the violations. Yahoo takes a dim view of SPAM, bigotry, pornography , being underage 13, insulting other members, racism, anything that even borders on illegal such as drugs even soft drugs, downloading movies, music programs etc. or links to that kind of stuff, copy and pasting an other member's answers. Any of that can mean a speedy exit.

it can be a serious violation to have more than one YA account. if misused It is considered to be cheating and all your accounts could be suspended.

If suspended you have seven days to appeal.

There is no set amount. All the system is connected together. If you are suspended you can open any number of new accounts. There is no such thing as being banned. Edit the other guys quote you the rules, but I tell you how it really is from the frontline.
