My dog just ate a part of a squirrel on our walk tonight.?

My neighbor and I were walking and my beagle grabbed part of a dead squirrel on the road and before we could do anything it was too late. My vet had me get Laxatone to help her get rid of everything. She sleeps with me too wonderful. What will the effects on her be from eating this dead animal? Only SERIOUS people/answers Please. Thank You.

It depends if the dead squirrel was diseased or not. If the dead squirrel is somehow with you or obtainable you should get some doctor to analyze it to see what pathogens may be there.

If your dog's mouth was cleaned very well with antibiotics, it should be fine. However, if your dog physically swallowed anything of the squirrel, you should be worried.

If your dog throws up rush it to the doctor immediately.

Ok dont worry dogs are able to eat dead animals unlike humans. If you are still worried about it put some pure peroxide in his/her water bowl.they will throw up the peroxide and any other unwanted mechanisms in thier body so don't sleep with them for this night.tommarow everything will be ok
