Is it okay for a pregnant cat to be active?

My pregnant cat has been very active tonight? We have a kitten who is 3 months old they have been playing and running around all night is that normal for a cat that is pregnant? We are not sure because she has been nesting and was lazy all day? Now she is really active? I need help :/

Actually it's healthy for her (just like with people). Just be sure you don't drop her from the height of your arms if you're holding her - set her down gently - a long drop when pregnant could cause problems, but that's about it.

  • Don't you think she knows what she can or cannot handle?? Spaying would have made all these concerns unnecessary!
