Is it weird that all religions are kind of the same?
Norse gods, greek gods, Egyptian gods, even Christianity can be compared to those said religions. Whether you believe or not it is pretty weird that all these different civilization(some i didn't mention) have practically the same religion when they didnt even contact each other at all. There is prob a logical reason behind it but hey, its fun to think about right?
a lot of your sarcastic and somewhat cynical views on religion are brainless and sad. You people try to distance yourself from jesus freaks and religion but really you are just the same

The logical reason Is, behind this tower, you have Babel from where all races, nations, and beliefs were dispersed throughout the earth! Genesis 11 Then, why look there it says that in the days of Peleg Genesis 10:25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided;
So they all were dispersed from one society, and given different languages, and then in the days of Peleg, the tectonic plates of the earth separate and put Oceans between themselves. So all of these handed down religions came from what we call the Sumerians, who the Bible refers to as Babel. All of Noah's descendants, who lived together in that valley instead of dispersing and filling the Whole earth as God had instructed.

Areas don't have to be in direct contact with each other- the ideas can be carried back and forth through intervening areas. And by the time christianity developed, most of those religions you mentioned were well familiar with each other- the Romans ruled Greece, Egypt and parts of what became Germany. That's the logical explanation. There's nothing weird about it.

I don't think its strange at all when truth is within us, and God is truth, and all religions contain truth.
