Is it okay to wake up my pup?

She's taking a nap right now, and our scheduled walk is in about 10 minutes. Should I keep with the schedule and walk her or wait until she wakes up?

schedule doesn't have to be set in stone.. on the dot

if you have the time to wait, then let her sleep & walk her when she wakes up

if you don't have the time to wait, then go ahead & wake her up & walk her

Well Sleep and walk are important to a pup. Wait about ten more minutes and if she's not awake by then, then just wake her up. Unless she started her nap then no.

Do whatever works best for YOU. The pup won't care one way or the other.

I can't believe the responders worried that she needs 10 minutes' more sleep. She can sleep when she gets back from the walk if she wants to.

At least wait the ten minutes. Sleep is important to all but more so to growing young things.

Wake her up. Dogs enjoy their lives in a good home. When they wake up they dont think of bills and kids and spouce and all the other problems humans have. They will be happy to see you. Wont bother the pup one bit.

It should be okay. I wake up my dog all the time. Though sleep is important. You should let her sleep.
