I have type 2 diabetes. When I get my Novalog 70/30 prescription?

It comes in little vials. When I open the box and remove it you can see a substance on the bottom of the inside of the vial. I shake the vial and it seems to dissolve. However in the directions it says, and I have been told by my doctor, to not shake it. To roll it between my palms 10 times. But this does not seem to dissolve the stuff. Do they say to not shake it because of bubbles forming? Is there any problem created by shaking? Thanks in advance for any solutions.

It foams easily so just roll it in your hands. Doesn't take long for it to become milky. You cannot be certain of your dose if there is foam. It also comes in a pre-filled Pen you can put in your pocket.

as part of mixing my vial, I instinctively shake it ( as well as roll it. I just have too much fun!!) If you see foam, wait half a minute for it to calm down. I don't think you have a problem.
