I totally agree with the people above. If I were to add to it:

-Piece(J)(airing now..l think you will like it...it's a little different then a normal high school drama in a good way!)

-Sugarless(J)(your typical Japanese yanki drama)

-Ikemen desu ne(J)(Japanese remake of you're beautiful....I never watched the original Korean one so I am not gonna compare:) )

- Hana yori Dango(Season One, Season Two, Hana Yori Dango The Final Movie)(J)(Original Boys Over Flowers. Even though it's older, many people prefer this one more than the Korean remake(including me)!)

-Queen Inhyun's Man(K)(love the actress! The romance is just wow!)

-Kekkon Shinai(J)(I was never into dramas like this but it makes you think alot about love and it's really cute!)

-Ren ai dekinai riyuu(J)(gives you different perspectives on love....Ending could've been better)

-Rich Man Poor Woman(J)(a very good one indeed and boy was it popular!!! Recommended for sure :D)

-Heartstrings(K)(typical version of you highschool romance drama in college version! Definitly recommended!!!)

-Rooftop Prince(K)(The drama is so funny>< the ending sucked like soo much....not recommended if you are the type of person who cannot get over with bad endings...)

-Buzzer Beat(J)( YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!Lots of romance)

-Paradise Kiss(J)(about fashion and romance!!!)

-Cinderella's Sister(K)(i can't remember><BUT IT WAS SOOOO GOOD)

-The Moon That Embraces the Sun(K)( sad....But amazing story line and LOTS OF ROMANCE!!! Basically about umm... In the Josen Period where they had kings and queens.)

Truthfully, I think Hana Yori Dango is the best series when it comes to this type of genre! It should be like a must watch on everyone's list!!!

Idol, ay? You need to watch Dream high and Dream High 2 then. You'll love Kim soo Hyun. I suggest you also try "boys before flowers" its a kdrama classic. :D
