How do I grow up and get a life and make friends and get a girlfriend?

I am a 19 year old guy and I still live at home, I don't have a vehicle, I don't have a job yet and I am still in High School. I only have one credit left and I am almost done with that credit because I only have to pass two exams and I will be done. I never had a girlfriend in my life, never had a date, never really had any experience with dating and girls. I try to be sociable but I don't know what I do wrong. I go to school and I get out around 11:00 AM, then I come home and just play on my laptop and chill at home until the next day. And about the dating thing, I wouldnt consider myself ugly but I wouldnt say I am hot, I would say I am about a 6 or a 7 from 1 to 10. Well yeah I don't hangout with anyone I just come home and keep to myself until the next day. And I am so tired of this lifestyle. I want to make a change. What do I do?

First of all take a deep breath and relax, you are really young and everything you have said isn't the end of the world. Also you need to be more confident, yes you may actually be only a 6 or a 7 and have some things going against you but you should think more highly of yourself. If you want to meet new people there are some things you can do. First you can go out more, get off the computer and just go explore. Take up a new activity or join some kind of club that will enable you to meet new people especially girls. If there are events where you live go check them out and set goals to talk to at least one girl at each event. You might also want to look into online dating. It's no longer taboo and I think you would be very surprised to see the types of girls on these sites because these sites are full of desperate women. Check that out one day on your computer. Finally concentrate on finishing up school, that is very important and for the time being more important then dating.
