Hi I will be graduating High School shortly and I want to join the Army and go Infantry, I was wondering how hard from 1-10 is Army BCT at Fort Benning, Georgia. Any Infantry Army Veterans know?

What is the point of having regular 9-5 jobs in the Military? That just wastes money when the same jobs are in the Civilian world. So why waste your time doing something in the Military that you can do in the Civilian world? For example: a mechanic. I am sorry but I believe that the Military should just be combat only. Anyone else agree?

Hi I am a 18 year old guy and today I completed my last course of high school with a B+. Anyway the school cant give me my diploma until the semester ends on December 19th. I go to school from 7:25 in the morning until 11:05 in the morning. I only have two classes which are computer based (that means everyone is doing their courses online) and when I say 15 days I mean 15 school days not counting weekends. So how do I find something constructive to do so I wont go crazy from boredom? lol plz answer!!!

I have a baby niece who will be 14 months old on December 4th, anyway I have not heard her say her first word yet and all she does is babble nonsense words like dukka dukka dukka and I am like wtf??? I am just wondering why she hasnt said mama or daddy yet. Her mom claims that she heard her say her first word but each time the babies parents bring her over to my families house she doesnt say anything but she babbles.

I only have one credit left and I am almost done with that credit because I only have to pass two exams and I will be done. I never had a girlfriend in my life, never had a date, never really had any experience with dating and girls. I try to be sociable but I don't know what I do wrong. I go to school and I get out around 11:00 AM, then I come home and just play on my laptop and chill at home until the next day. And about the dating thing, I wouldnt consider myself ugly but I wouldnt say I am hot, I would say I am about a 6 or a 7 from 1 to 10. Well yeah I don't hangout with anyone I just come home and keep to myself until the next day. And I am so tired of this lifestyle. I want to make a change. What do I do?

I am 18 years old and I want to join the Army. I was wondering how many years I have to serve minimum for active duty. I know its 8 years total but can I do 2 years active duty and 6 years reserve, 3 years active duty and 5 years reserve, 4 years active duty and 4 years reserve, 5 years active duty and 3 years reserve, 6 years active duty and 2 years reserve, 7 years active duty and 1 year reserve, or 8 years active duty? P.S. I want to be a 11B Infantryman. So what is it?

My older brother's fiancee has two boys from a previous relationship and the older one is Six and the younger one is four. Recently when they have came over the six year old has been remembering certain things I have said. For example, I have a PS3 and they like playing it and I tell them they can play it a week before they come over and the six year old will remember what I said. I kinda thought little kids didnt have a good memory and that their minds were on like autopilot or something until they're older like 9 or something. How is this?
