difference between dragonball kai and dragonball z?

I was thinking of rewatching the dragonball series (as it is one of my fav animes) but I'm not really sure about the difference between these two. In the ending different? Characters?

Please no spoilers, just a vague idea of the differences

thanks

When Dragon Ball Z was first made, it had a lot of filler in it, meaning stuff that wasn't in the manga. Kai takes out most, if not all, of the filler. It also tones down the violence, blood, and other mature aspects of it, making it more appropriate for younger viewers. Some of the voice actors are different, the theme song is different, and it does end at a different point. The original DBZ goes farther, where Kai ends before the Buu saga. My sister-in-law watched the original, and now watches Kai with her daughter. She says it's different, but still pretty enjoyable.

Dragonball Z is in standard definition. Dragonball Z Kai is in high definition.

Dragonball Z has more episodes than Dragonball Z Kai because Dragonball Z has fillers and shows the Buu Saga. Dragonball Z Kai does not show the fillers and the Buu saga.

Dragonball Z Kai integrates some scenes from previous DBZ films but Dragonball Z does not.

    That's about it.

Dragonball Z Kai is Dragon Ball Z except without all of the filler episodes. In other words, Dragon Ball Z Kai is more accurate to the manga along with imrproved artwork and animation.

No they are pretty much the same except the cut filler scenes from DB:Kai, so as a result it is shorter.

Its remastered, rerecords of dialogue, and opening and closing theme. Plotwise it is the same.
