Is this lucky or what?

I am not happy in my current job, so I handed in my notice on Monday (part time earning £7k per year - call centre job, scripted, horrible customers)

I applied for a job that was perfect for the skills and experience I have. Within the hour, the recruiter was calling me to see him in the next half an hour.

I got there and I was offered the job, there and then! This job is a £11,000.00 pay rise as well!

The job is an £18k salary

    is 11k a well paid job? i am not being rude but i wouldnt even turn up for the interview for that, but i guess it depends on age, where you live and what qualifications
