I don't think I have ever got an answer reported on this site. But I have gotten quite a bit of questions that were reported and I recdieved a violation and lost 10 points. It annoys me when I ask something and it gets reported but when someone else asks the same exact question or something similar it stays.

One person emailed me to say they were going to report my answer. If they did, I didn't hear anything about it.

My answer obviously touched a nerve. This person messaged me and went on about how I was going to be 'reported' as if I should be so scared by that on the same level as being reported to the Police. I was like, LOL, who cares?

My reply was polite and got to the heart of the question. It was just not what they wanted to hear.

You get that sometimes. As long as you are not abusive or offencive you should be alright.

I particularly record unsolicited mail, as indoors the Nike guy, and pornographic avatars. particular descriptions of intercourse additionally gets a flag from me, as will gratuitous profanity (i'm sorry, yet on an analogous time as someone's answer is crammed with f***s and s***s, there isn't any excuse for that. yet on an analogous time as they use the two notice a pair of situations, i ought to not care much less. or possibly the two. i flow to thumb it down if it particularly is rude, yet I won't record it.). and oftentimes i flow to even enable gratuitous profanity slide, if it form of feels that it become necessary. diverse than that? i don't record something. Even "blasphemy", rants, humorous trolls (like Tragic Typos, and the WSIDR), chatting, avatar video games, and questions that are quite not quite questions. i ought to not care much less approximately those. I additionally do not care if people disagree with me. I won't record them for that. and that i've got have been given via no potential, ever stated people like Desiree or Rev WWW. Nor will I ever. As I say on my profile, if someone gets a violation notice, it particularly is in all danger not from me, so if someone thinks i'm a itemizing monkey, they'd desire to e mail me first and question me if I stated their question or answer. Odds are, i did not.

For a while, a few answers were being reported and not for any good reason.

I appealed them and won. If I know I haven't done anything wrong, I am going to appeal and not allow

someone to gain reporting status for reporting without good cause.

Yep. Some people got nothing better to do. I've appealed a few times, but it never did anything. Polls-surveys has given me problems a lot with reporting and not so much with other categories.

No, but one of my questions got reported and all I did was ask if anyone could guess my crush's name :( I felt upset to begin with but I've gotten over it now. I still don't see how I was violating any rules or whatever though, so I'm still really confused on that one.

Yes, I've been reported for sincere questions and answers. I guess it depens on how you read anything, it could all be offensive to someone.
