How can I be happier?
I feel lonely all the time.. I have 0 friends and I'm overly shy. I'm 18 and homeschooled because I was bullied out of high school. I've never met a single person who hasn't tried to change me and tried to get me to do things I don't want to.. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs and I never will while most teenagers here get drunk and high every night of their lives.. I hate racism, sexism and all that while when I went to high school the kids were constantly making racist jokes. I love nature and all animals strongly and so I got made fun of for that although THAT didn't bother me.. I feel like no one cares about me and that I'm so different from everyone else and I'll never have a friend or person to talk to. How can I be happier? Thanks.

You sound much more mature and intelligent than many people your age. It's unfortunate but sometimes we simply find ourselves surrounded by the wrong kinds of people. Not that they are worse off than us, but they choose to have different experiences. It's too bad that it sounds like they don't respect your choices.
Many people find high school life difficult, and find that life gets much easier as they get older. It sounds like you need to meet new kinds of people. You said you love nature - I don't know where you live but perhaps you can volunteer at a local animal shelter, or join a hiking group, or something similar? Be cautious of course but you will find that most people are very friendly and welcoming, and the shyness fades away over time.
Keep up the good decisions. Also please know that there is ALWAYS someone out there who cares about you, even if you haven't met them, myself and many others included.

Just soak up what you have then that you do enjoy!
I made it through all of high school and am almost graduating college and have never drank, smoked, or done any drugs either. Thankfully, I wasn't bullied, and I'm sorry that you had to struggle through that.
Maybe try finding a hobby or passion, something you can really engulf your life and talents in. It's really bizarre that you were made fun of for loving nature and animals, but maybe it's just the demographics of where you live.
Definitely just let all those jokes roll off (which you seem to have), and live your life to the top. You aren't held down with addiction, that's something to be happy about. You may have gorgeous nature and animals around you, that's something to be happy about. You have guardians that spend time with you in order for you to be homeschooled, that's something to be happy about.
Maybe get a little blank journal and try to find a few things every day to be happy about and write it in your journal every night. And when there are times that you feel like you can't find anything, go back and read those.

Let go of those things. Laugh along, change yourself a little and change them a lot. Forgive people for being shallow, pretend to be shallow and live in the moment. I'm not racist and I'm Asian and female, but I make racist and sexist jokes and laugh. It's funny, other people think it's funny and I don't mind:)
