I am looking for a tried and proven recipe for pickled eggs using soda pop like ginger ale or specifically 7 U?
I remember a cook that had a recipe at the golf club for pickled eggs using 7 UP but a similar one using ginger ale would suffice,Please only ones tried and proven

7 UP Pickled Eggs
Ingredients:
12 hard boiled eggs - peeled
2 cups beet juice
2 cups 7 UP
1 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup sugar
2 bay leaves
2 cloves
12 rainbow peppercorns
Directions:
- Place eggs into a large mason jar or distribute eggs between two jars. Set aside.
- Combine beet juice, 7 UP, vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, cloves and peppercorns. Bring to a boil. Carefully pour over eggs. Let jar cool completely and then refrigerate
