Can anyone tell me how to get Revolution flea treatment for my cats?
I have 5 cats and have been using Revolution for about 4 years. Now all the online companies have made a rule that they can't sell it without a vets prescription. My vet wouldn't fax the prescription. They need to see each cat at least once a year before they will give it. I take good care of my cats and take them to the doctor if they need it but they are healthy and it is expensive to take 5 cats to a vet for nothing when they're perfectly healthy. I just need to get the Revolution.

Yes, Revolution requires a prescription, and vets (and human doctors) are NOT permitted to write a script for a patient they haven't seen recently. Cats do need to go to the vet yearly - that is just plain good, responsible pet care. Without a vet visit, you don't know for a fact that your cats are healthy, do you? Your vet is just doing what he's legally required to do. If you get them seen like you should, then you have an entire year of getting scripts for the Revolution.

I'm not sure there's any way around that. Frontline Plus is a great alternative. It got rid of my cats fleas within the first month.

Interesting. I'm not sure what to tell you. Have you checked in Petco or Petsmart to see if they carry it? Our cats dont have nor have they ever had fleas, so I don't keep up with those things regarding the flea products.
