is it ok to download pages from books?

I went to this website online and there are extra examples of math problems from books. I want to know if it is legal to download those and put them on a hard drive

    Well depends on what book you download Like if the Book Owner Says It's his and Forbids people from downloading it THEN its illegal but The books where owners don't Claim it like that and don't say anything about it THEN thats legal
