Predicament or limbo?

I am an ugly young man, I’m 23+ but never ever had any girlfriend but I have a huge liking on a girl for over 4-5 years. She’s girl next door (literally) we take occasionally, well our talk’s usually last 1-2 minutes. But she talks nicely.

Now, few months back I was going out of town, so I went to her and told her and we exchanged cell numbers. (Well I planned it, ages ago to do at this point)

I didn’t call her or texted and she also didn’t. But in December 2012 I texted her some funny messages, many times. But she didn’t reply. I often send her messages but she never replies. But whenever (by chance) we meet she is completely normal. And when she sees me on a roadway or near her house she gives a suspicious smile. The fact is no girl has ever given me that type of smile.

Now, I am really confused, she doesn’t reply but she behaves normally. Does she smiles like a friend or she smiles out of pity on my ugly, hideous face?

She has left me in a limbo… I just hope she calls someday. I’m an old man, filled with regret waiting to die.
