i need some help choosing an anime to watch?

Instead of giving recommendations, I'm going to show you how to look up your own gosh darn anime.

FIRST STEP:

Go to a website that hosts a lot of shows- one I like to use is:

(be wary of pop-ups)

SECOND STEP:

Now you're going to want to find the list of "GENRES" It's a separate tab on anime avenue. Click that.

THIRD STEP:

Judging from the description you gave me, you like SHOUJO ANIME. "Shoujo anime/manga" is anime or manga that is geared towards girls. The art styles are more aesthetically pleasing, the characters are generally better looking, and the main character is in most cases female. Fruits Basket and Host Club are both really popular shoujo manga that were turned into successful anime.

STEP FOUR:

Pick an anime from the list of SHOUJO ANIME by looking at how highly it's rated, the art style on the preview image, and *most importantly*, the DESCRIPTION. It's always best to choose a series that you are interested in.

STEP FIVE:

Watch the first two-to-three episodes of your selection. If you get to the third episode and you're not crazy about it, go ahead and stop watching. Your opinion's your own, and no one can ever correctly claim that it's somehow "wrong" or "lesser".

STEP SIX:

Repeat step five until you find a show you like and want to continue.

Well it doesn't have powers but they are the sweetest stories EVER:

Lovely Complex (once you watch all the episodes you wish it never ended)

Peach Girl (lots of drama but still cute story)

Rosario+vampire is a good one but the man guy character doesn't get cute till later on in the series but its really good, also loveless is a good one as well, vampire knight was good but had a horrible ending so beware of that one if you decide on it, love hina was okay kinda perverted tho, tsubasa reservoir chronicles is one of my favorites so I send that one with high marks~ hope I helped also some links I use personally for them are http://www.watchcartoononline.com/ http://www.animeratio.com/ and http://www.englishanimes.com/
