does "narrow minded people on narrow minded streets" ring a bell?
I got put on English questions world wide. They are like a wider version of this UK and Ireland. Here answers go before one has time to answer and some must be wanting to have my question removed because I can't get back in to ask where the answer has gone.

Does "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" ring a bell? Censorship is a quick, easy way to grease them squeakeez, unfortunately.
