Is everyone ready to turn in all "assault" or "military-style" weapons?

Absolutely not.

1. My State does not require sales/transfers of rifles/shotguns between private parties to go through a FFL Dealer so the federal government has no record that I even own said rifles nor does my state require registration of rifles/shotguns so not even the state has a record that I even own said rifles.

Thus if I do not tell them about said rifles they wont ever know about said rifles..

2. Our Sate Governor, Our Lt Governor and a ruling majority of our State Legislatures have already declared that if Obama uses his executive powers to circumvent constitutional law and infringe on the 2nd Ammendment rights of our citizens that our state will immediately pass legislation not to enforce those executive orders in our state.Thus Meaning Obama will have to hire a whole lot of Federal agents to enforce those laws in our state.

Of course it is extremely doubtful that the government will be able to ban the ownership of so-called assault weapons and require that citizens turn in said weapons...

Thankfully several states still codify a "Right of Revolution" in their state constitutions to take down a tyranical government.

What do you mean "turn in"? Turn in to whom? The federal government has very limited ability to regulate firearms other than on federal property and in interstate commerce. Many states have no gun laws at all, so it's not clear why there is even any discussion of "turning in" any guns anywhere for any reason.

By law, it is completely beyond the power of any federal or state legislature to enact any law that makes it illegal to do something that has already been done, such as purchase of any lawful firearm (which should be interpreted to mean ANY personal firearm). Since they cannot legally punish your possession, why would you have to give up your possession?

While I wholly oppose the legislation currently being debated in Congress, the proposed law does not confiscate weapons or require a turn-in of assault style weapons, its merely a ban a future sales.

Nope. Why? Because basically every major firearm design can be traced back to a "military style" firearm.

Sigh.

Why do the people who complain about laws and government the most never have the faintest clue of how they work?
