Ladies Help! I need dating advice! What would you have done in this situation?
I met this guy. So for the first date he said he wanted to cook for me. So he came over and went straight to the kitchen and kept it a surprise on what he was cooking. When he was finished I saw that it was just boiled white rice with a seasoning poured on top. When I tasted the rice, it was did not have much of a taste. I asked him if there will be any side dishes and he said no this is very filling. I was very disappointed but pretended like it was good. What would you have done??

Since it was the first date give the guy a break. He meant well, and that's actually very sweet because most guys now a days are pigs and just want sex. I think what he did was cute..but if you guys get more serious, then break the news to him..good luck!

I would have ate it and pretend to like it. So what if he is not a good cook. He was just trying to be nice. Unless something else is bothering you about him. He was just being nice. I think a little cute myself.
