Am I the only atheist amused by Christians' creative answers to why God allows evil?
Here are the most common ones:
1. "If God stopped evil-doers He would be interfering with their free will. God does not violate free will because then it wouldn't be free. God is not a puppeteer!"
So apparently God values the free will of vicious sadistic serial killers more than the lives of innocent children. Hmm, God certainly has interesting priorities. And have you noticed how in the Bible, God has no problem directing his followers to violate the free will of others? Why does God depend on human, fallible men here on Earth to enforce his Biblical laws? Why doesn't God just enforce the laws himself?
2. "We need evil to know what good is. Without evil, we would have no frame of reference to know what good is."
Right. That's why it's necessary for innocent people to be routinely butchered: It's so that you would know what it means to be kind and loving and compassionate. Without the rape and torture of innocents on a daily basis all around the world, you would have no idea what kindness and love are. Why, of course! Makes perfect sense.
3. "God is under no obligation to stop human suffering."
Okay fine... he's not obligated (and that's debatable but I'll concede the point). So why not stop human suffering out of the goodness of his heart? Why not do it because he's kind and loving and compassionate and can't stand to see people hurting each other? Oh, that's right... see excuse #1. But wait! What if humans are suffering naturally? Such as... natural disasters or diseases? Why doesn't He stop THAT sort of suffering? He won't have to violate anyone's free to stop it. Answer: see excuse #3.
Hey Christians, time to get out your Bible quotes and give us more excuses why a loving, caring, compassionate, all-mighty God allows natural disasters, diseases, and blood-thirsty maniacal psychos to slowly torture and kill innocent victims.

I'm amused by the Christians who are unaware of what the bible has to say on the matter.
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 31:1-2

It is man who is responsible for all the evil in the world. God uses those situations for greater good. For eg; Adam Lanza is responsible for all the suffering caused by Connecticut school shooting. Why did God allow it? maybe to teach us that Gun Control Is Long Overdue? We should have opened eyes long back, maybe with Columbine school shooting? or maybe Tucson Giffords shooting? movie theater Colarado shootings? Sikh temple Wisconsin shootings?
He might have allowed it to show us how violent video games can be? He might have allowed it to bring families together? maybe to show that we need prayers in school?

Your points are all absolutely right on, true, and totally logical.
Which is why the Fudies won't get it. Sometimes I wonder if they suffer from collective brain damage.

Egypt's first born, Amalikites, Flood, She bears sent to murder 42 children.
The excuses I find the most amusing, and troubling, are the excuses and immoral justifications they come up with for why it is actually GOOD to worship a BABY KILLER...it really is funny to watch a christian trying to make baby murder a "good" thing, but only when it serves THEIR purpose, which is to preserve their immoral faith that a stinking baby killer is the creator of all things good.

God through His Son created the worlds. His Son redeemed us from the claims that Satan was making on us, after we sinned. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began 2Timothy 1:9. Our salvation was not an after thought after sin. Romans 5 tells us that Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners, ungodly, enemies, and without strength. According to Revelation 12 there was a war in heaven. Satan, a created being, stood before God day and night making accusations. Ezekiel 28:12-19 and Isaiah 14:12-17 gives more details. Had God wiped him out instantly, the rest of the created beings, including us, would have had questions. about the questions raised of being able to trust God. God has given us a period of time out of all eternity, to get an understanding of God's way vs Satan's way. A third of the angels of heaven took sides with Satan in the rebellion against God and His law of love. God's law defines His character of love, mercy, and justice. Revelation 12:17 shows that today Satan is still at war with those that keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. 1John 3:4 defines sin as the transgression of the law. I was raped by a stranger with a gun. It took years and God to finally bring the degree of healing I now experience from the sheer terror, and the resulting need for an abortion. I have also lived with severe pain and surgeries from an injury on a job, over a period of years. That is a portion of what I have experienced. I found that with God I have a peace that I never had, in the nine years I dropped God cold. That was a bitter painful period of my life after being abused at a different job. I am looking forward to Jesus coming and putting an end to all pain, sickness, suffering, and death. When I am reunited with my mother in the resurrection at the coming of Jesus, I will be ecstatic with joy. Well at least with more joy than I have now in Jesus. He invites us to try Him and see if He is good. That is what it took for me. I was at the point where I just wanted to give up and pleaded for no resurrection. I was so worn out from the constant pain and spasms. I put everything I had, which wasn't much, and myself in God's hands. He turned my life around. Satan will be destroyed and burned to ashes. Revelation is a promise that all things will be made new. Sin will never rise up again, as we will never have any desire to mess up a great thing with a God that we love and trust completely. We will never have our power of choice taken away, but we won't change our minds about God.

God says "Come to me and I will show you, I will protect you,I will love and care for you". Did you go to Him?
That is exactly what happen during the creation of mankind. When you are not in Him, he cannot do those things. Why? Because God is Good and Satan is Evil, you cannot have both. Everything you stated is evil, Satan is Evil. Do you understand? It's not satan has evil, He IS evil. If you want to blame anyone for things in your Life, blame yourself, for you didnt go to God, you wont know anything till you seek Him. All the answers to these questions are in Christ Jesus. Believe me or not, but you cant have an opinion if your've only searched one side.

If you know why evil happens, why do you care what other people choose to believe. Just let them live their life, you can live your life knowing more.
But it sounds like you're just angry at God, rather than just denying his existence. Otherwise, why would you waste your time trying to find logic within irrational people.
