    The Rapture is false.

    You want to be left behind, here is why.

    St. Paul tells us that "those who are alive and who are left"

    ~~~~1Thess 4:16 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord.
    Jesus tells us when he returns it will be like the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot.
    Who were taken first? The sinners.
    Who was alive and left after the great flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? Noah and his family and lot and his family.
    ~~~~Luke 17:26 And as it came to pass in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat and drink, they married wives, and were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark: and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it came to pass, in the days of Lot: they did eat and drink, they bought and sold, they planted and built. 29 And in the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man shall be revealed.

    ~~~~Matthew 24:37
    And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
    Jesus tells us:
    ~~~~Matthew 24:13 "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

    ~~~~1Corinthians 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
    The last Trumpet comes well after the Tribulation Period
    See Revelations 8,9 and 10
    Hebrews says he will come again to bring salvation to those waiting for him....
    ~~~~Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

    "The ear that listens to salutary reproof is at home among the wise. Those who disregard discipline hate themselves, but those who heed reproof acquire understanding.The fear of the LORD is training for wisdom, and humility goes before honors"

    ~~~Proverbs 15:31-33
    Peace be with your spirit
    As far as the date of 8/25/13.........Listen:
    (Matthew 24:36) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.
    I am guessing, but I believe the "rapture" concept is taken from
    (Matthew 24:40, 41) Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned; 41 two women will be grinding at the hand mill: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned. ?????
    You must let Scripture interpret Scripture. The one being "abandoned" is destroyed, and the one "taken along" will be saved. How do we know this to be true?
    (Psalm 37:9-11) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
    (Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
    Since the BIBLE says that the righteous will possess the earth FOREVER, you must believe this to be true, right? We are all Christians correct? Jesus himself said:
    (Matthew 5:5) “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.
    We do not know WHEN Armageddon will take place, but from the stream of times, we know that we are living in the last days. Therefore:
    (Matthew 24:44) On this account YOU too prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that YOU do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming.
    The belief that faithful Christians will be bodily caught up from the earth, suddenly taken out of the world, to be united with the Lord “in the air.” The word “rapture” is understood by some persons, but not by all, to be the meaning of 1 Thessalonians 4:17. The word “rapture” does not occur in the inspired Scriptures.
    The word Rapture is not once mentioned through out the entire bible
    The whole Idea is ridiculous of only the selected few will go to heaven while everyone else will stay on earth.
    Where in the world did you read such a phoney boloney idea? or better yet who sold you on this idea?
    It would be better to find out where this whole made up idea first originated so you can know who to stay away from for future religious teachings.
    Read the bible for all the answers, don't let some nut explain it , READ IT yourself
    There is no need to prepare for something that will never happen.
    How ironic. You are preparing for life after death (which does not exist) while you are wasting the only life you will ever have. Is it really true that ignorance is bliss?
    What are you talking about? I experience rapture with my wife at least once a week.
    I don't believe in the rapture. I believe in the Second Coming of Jesus at the end of the age to heal a world that's been messed up by our bungling. Jesus isn't coming back twice, just once more immediately after the tribulation.
    The so-called secret pretrib rapture makes for good scare movies, but it isn't supported by the Scripture. It probably is a good money maker for pastors who want to assure their followers that they will be beamed up the minute things get a little too rough down here.
