Alt character to type division sign?

How do you type the division sign, the one with with one dot over the bar and one under?

    Alt+0247 with the numbers on the right hand side of the keyboard.

    You can also use a character map which will tell you the keystroke for any character you click on.

    EDIT: Character Map is a program that shows you every available character. Here's the Wikipedia link:

    You can find the character you're looking for and either copy/paste it, or just find the Alt code and type it like that. Macs have a similar program, but I'm not sure what it's called.
