How do I become a mercenary without military experience?
I'll start by saying that this is a serious question and and that I am in fact considering becoming a mercenary. I have a realistic view on life and I don't really care about it, neither. If you think I believe in the Hollywood movies showing of mercenaries as professional kick boxers or whatever, you're absolutely wrong. Anyway, I was seen as unfit for service in the Norwegian army, because I've been diagnosed with a mild form of Aspergers syndrome. I've been focused on becoming a soldier all my life, and I am in excellent shape both physically and mentally, except for the diagnosis. The only way that diagnosis has affected me, is by making me a man of few words. I wonder if any of you can tell me how to become a mercenary without military experience, who I should contact to become one, and how to apply for the job.
I'm not a lunatic that longs for killing. I just want to know if there are any other ways to become a mercenary than joining the army. I want to know if there is a company or something that gives me the training required for working as one.

Private military contractors only hire those with extensive experience, usually ex-special forces or infantry, both with multiple tours. They don't train people.
Do you think they'd hire some eighteen year old with two years retail experience over a 25 year old corporal of horse with two tours under his belt? Dream on mate.
You think you have a realistic view on life, but you think a PMC would hire somebody with no experience?

I live in the US now I also have aspergers and I want to join the military too, but I was told I might not be able to join, now unlike Norway(no offense) cases like yours and mine are followed on a by cast basis, but I was told I can become a police officer, where I would have a better chance of being accepted rather than the military. Alot of American mercenary companies hire you if you were either a cop with detective status for at least 6 years or served in a SWAT team for at least 3 years. The French Foreign Legion is also a possibility for me, I mean come on if the FFL takes sort of psychopathic ex convicts, why wouldn't they take aspergers. It's up to you man, your choice, good luck, I hope it works out for you

Most PMCs won't touch anyone who doesn't have extensive experience downrange. They seem to have a preference for Active Duty Infantry and Special Ops. I'd say your best bet is to look into getting hired as a law enforcement officer, or an armed security guard. Get experience in the shooter jobs field, and that *may* qualify you to become a PMC. Also, I wouldn't mention your condition to any hiring boards from hereon unless they ask specifically.

I also want to be a mercenary but have no military experience. I tried to enlist but got rejected by all four branches. How can a guy get experience if no one want to give him a shot.

I want to say, that it is still possible,
Join the French Foreign Legion,
Also, before you do that Be sure to find out the cause of your illness, or asperger syndrome,
Some foods may cause certain types of illness listen to what i say because this is the greatest advice,
you might have a food reaction that gives the impression that you may have an syndrome but you don't .
take a gene snip. most diseases are genetic and may be caused by certain allergic reactions to food, I wish you the best in becoming a merc.

Not going to happen. Unless some kind of law enforment experience, but pref infantry or special ops experience. They look for candidates with numerous tours and combat action.

I have about 20 years as a police officer and about 20 years combined in the national guard, army, and army reserve. Wondering what would be the best place for me to look for this type of work?
