Why does everyone hate the "new" Spongebob Squarepants?

Honestly I've been watching the show since the first episode aired in May of 99 and it still manages to keep me captivated almost 14 years later. Yet I hear all this crap about how the new Spongebob sucks, apparently anything after the 3rd season is considered new. What gives? I don't see anything wrong with the seasons following 3 at all and still find them all hilarious. Idk, maybe I'm just a true fan.

    Because it's as stupid as its always been, probably and therefore I have never gotten into it.
