However, my missus does and I was dragged round House of Fraser I think and we came apon the china glass area. Tucked away in there somewhere are things called cake plates.

These come in all the classic pottery names (Royal Dalton, Wedgewood) etc, with it comes a cake knife with matching china handle, fancy box with satin inside.

Now it did nothing for me, I just supply cash however we were out of there so I didn't care.

At the wedding all prezzies were opened and you wouldn't believe the bride and all the girl were crazy for this bloody thing.

Anyway everyone was happy so who cares. She's done the same thing for a couple more weddings with the same result.

I don't know if this is of help, seems no one thinks of these things to get a wedding couple.

It must be a girl thing, thank the gods.
