Looking for the title of a book?

I think it was called Peter but can not find it anywhere. It was about cloning and the scientists are given a relic from the Vatican which they get DNA from and clone into a person. The clone turns out to be the disciple Peter and the book follows how he adapts to modern life and trying to keep him out of the media. It is quite thought provoking on the moral and ethical dilemmas of cloning.
