TORO LAWN MOWER STARTING PROBLEM?

My Toro Lawn mower (model 20332) will not prime after sitting idle for several days. This model is supposed to be easy start and has no priming bulb. To start it initially I remove the spark plug then add a little gas in the spark plug hole and replace the plug. After this initial work around is performed the mower starts and restarts relatively easily until the next week when I take it out to mow the lawn again. What can be done to resolve this problem? A second problem is that the engine seems not perform to its power standard ( 190cc / 7ft-lb) stalls and shuts off very easily even when mowing very low grass. What can be causing this under power performance? Thank you

It could have a little dirt in the carb passages, maybe the choke system is not working properly. Also, it might just be worn down a bit in the engine compression department.

You should use a rebuild kit yet. Just try cleaning it. also make sure a fuel shut off valve is not closed
