Staying in a hotel resort. Want to know why does the maid keep moving my toothbrush?

She is taking it out of the cup on the sink and putting the toothbrush on my bed. But only the one toothbrush. Leaving the other member of our party toothbrushes in the cup. What the hell?

Update:

I expected much more out of a disney resort, we have been very unhappy with the housekeeping overall the entire stay. We actually called the front desk to see why she is doing this, like is it some sort of Disney tradition? they sometimes do fun things-not that this is. But front desk said it is weird and then they called housekeeping to see what was up with that. Mousekeeping said they have no idea why she was doing that and do we want her to stop? Uh hello?! Yeah please do not F with my toothbrush. I will be putting up the do not disturb sign the rest of our stay and locking all the toothbrushes in the safe. I usually tip at the end of our stay, but not this time.

Maybe she is upset at you and is using your toothbrush to scrub the toilet.

  • That is super strange. You should tell her can you please leave my toothbrush in the cup. If she says ok, that's good. If she smirks and lies. Throw the toothbrush and get mad show off like, " Ya I am strong and your not stupid maid". People are so dumb these days it gets on your nerves. That lady probably thinks the tooth brush needs a nap. OMG she is kind of weird.

That's a good idea, to lock your toothbrushes in the safe. That doesn't sound very 'Disney-like' at all.

Uh, yeah... I would be throwing out that toothbrush immediately.

Actually, this would be a justification to buy a new toothbrush for each day of my stay...

Confuse her by getting a different color brush.

Oh, yes, you definitely need to tip her.

Just put the DND sign on your door. I always do this.
