Are you loyal to gaming franchises?

Yes, Mass Effect and Dragon Age are two of my favourite series. I gave up on Call of Duty a few years ago because Activision was releasing a new COD game every single year so I just ended up getting tired of it because each new game was too similar to the last, and unfortunately the Assassin's Creed series looks like it's heading the same way, Ubisoft has been releasing a new AC game every year for a while now, and it doesn't look like they're going to give it a break.

In my opinion Rockstar have the right idea with Grand Theft Auto, instead of releasing a new game every year, they release a new one once every several years. Even when they only release a couple of screenshots once in a while that's still enough to make it the headline on every gaming news website, and the game gets the time in development it needs and fans get enough of a break until the next game. :)

To an extent, yes. I really like The Elder Scrolls games and the Borderlands games, but I like to judge each game by it's own merit. Yes, if a game belongs to a franchise that I like then I'll be more inclined to buy it, but take for example Assassin's Creed. I played the **** out of the first and second games, then I got bored with the repetition and found that although the story was different, adding only a 'revolutionary hook-blade' just doesn't make a game better.

I'm usually pretty loyal to a game unless I just really didn't like the first one. If I really liked the first one I become obsessed with it until I have all of them beat.

I've played all of the Devil May Cry but got pissed off with the last one and didn't play it because I didn't like the way they changed his looks.

I'm not loyal to franchises or companies. I play games that are fun. If a game isn't fun, then I won't play it: simple as that.

Pokemon :P I have played then entire series from the start.

the only ones that i loved were the Final Fantasy and Pokemon series.

I've been loyal to the tomb raider series I've completed them all, I still have them all and I still play them :-)
