Is literature your weapon?

No, literature is not my weapon. A thick skin is.

Given that weapon isn't strictly what you want, and the fact that knowledge is not always power without the application of wisdom, I have a couple things to say.

I'll always be a work in progress person, learning, growing, hoping there are no limits to that.

Poetry is part of my therapy, but Biographies (auto or otherwise) are my main literary interests. To know or study another in a non fiction sense, can enlighten us.

Perhaps literature is a tool, a shield, as much as it might be a weapon?

My weapon is an awareness of the fallacy of the idea of importance.

To your AD: "My airplane is literature."

A rapier wit, and sociopathic tendencies.

If I were able to put my thoughts and

feelings in to words, then I too would

use literature.

Literature is my HAMMOCK,

wherein I lie and feel and escape,

and, depending on the breezes stirred,

lapse into a recharging nap!

literature is my escape. Whether reading or writing, it gives me a chance to slip into another's skin and forget myself.

A grandiose, self-deluded notion.

My weapon is sarcasm.
