Hurt my Foot/Toe and week ago, need advice!?

Well, I run track and we were practising in our spikes and all of a sudden my second to last toe hurt. It was a little swollen and painful but that was it. But after awhile, it got worse and more swollen! We couldn't find the place where it was hurting until about Monday night. It was the back of my foot right where it drops off at the toe. I went to see my brother in law who is a chiropractor and he said I bruised my head of something that is common in dancers apparently. Anyway, Today It has gotten even worse! Now the pain is through out my foot and i cant move my toes. I try to walk on it and it will feel fine and all of a sudden it was sharp pains. It also feels like im walking on a golf ball. Any ideas if I should get it checked out again?

    Hi there,

    Personally, I think you have fractured the bone.

    I would go and see your GP if possible as they may prescribe anti-inflammatories to reduce swelling and pain.

    Plus they may send you to get an X-ray to which will help identify the problem.
