Can the birds infected with bird flu in China that are being slaughtered end up in pet food?

It should be common knowledge that euthanized animals are used in our dog and cat food here in the US. (as are road kill, diseased farm animals, etc) How are the birds with bird flu that are being slaughtered in China 'disposed' of? I haven't been able to find any articles about it.

You see, the norm is if the media isn't reporting anything, it means it's not happening, not the other way round, or is the world a game of paranoia?

potentially infected stocks are probably incinerated, and the keyword is "potentially", since batches of stocks are slaughtered out of precaution, not that all those poultry were infected.

we've not had any of the severe pathogenic poultry flu interior the US. That (AI) ought to no longer be the reason you do not opt to take your babies over to this chum's homestead. Chickens do have a lot of dander, so in the adventure that your babies are asthmatic than, per chance no longer a lot. yet as with each and every pets, no longer merely chickens, there's a chance that they can %. up yet another trojan horse/germ that they have got not are available in contact in the previous, which may reason slightly the runs in the adventure that your babies do no longer wash their palms in the previous ingesting some thing. I labored as a hen extensionist, and in my position, I dealt ALOT with questions with regard to the problem of AI. i will state back that we've not had any HPAI (severe pathogenic avian influenza) interior the US. the present lack of life count number for AI is in straight forward words at 191, and it is from all started from the mid ninety's. If AI change into really person-friendly to seize, shouldn't China be fairly a lot non-existent as far as human beings flow? (No offense meant to China). i'm merely affirming your fears about AI are unfounded right here, yet worry about them getting the runs or being really allergic to feather dander.

Of course not, these birds or chilkens in China which are influenced by flu had been killed even those not influenced. on the other hand, the so called pet food must have been checked before entering US.

EWWW! That's disgusting. I don't want to be feeding my cat that kind of stuff.

This is going to seem off topic but are there any foods that DON'T use disgusting stuff like that? I can't believe they use euthanized animals...oh my god I'm going to barf....that's so disgusting and disrespectful to an animal who could have been someone's pet at some point.
