Is it possible to get sick from drinking too much wine? or is it true that wine is good for your stomach?

    You can get sick from drinking too much of anything.

    And wine isn't good for your stomach but it is good for your heart.

    St. Paul recommended wine to Timothy I believe for his stomach problems so it's an old cure. That would be 1/2 a glass of RED wine. It's the red that has good things for your health in it. Just don't over do it. And it's ONCE a day at bedtime is when I'd do it. Yes. You can get sick on wine just as with any other alcoholic beverage and some people are horribly allergic to the yeasts used in certain wines so be careful. I drank a glass of a good Sauvignon Blanc once and it closed my throat up so I could barely breathe!!!!!!!!

    A single glass of red wine per day has been shown to have certain health benefits. But drinking too much of any kind of alcohol is not good for your stomach, or the rest or your organs for that matter.

    you can get sick when drinking wine, same as any other alcohol. a glass of red wine per day is rumoured to be good for your heart.

    one small glass of wine a day is good for your heart, but all alcohol has a negative effect on your digestive tract, not to say i don't love drinking but facts are facts
