Is my computer dying?
The other day I posted a question about me having issues accessing my external drive after a crash. I had my first questioned answered, but now I am wondering if my computer is dying. It keeps shutting down on its and then hanging up. Norton 360 did NOT find any issues as far as viruses.
Computer is OLD in standards. About a 2007. I can't say for sure, because it's a refurbished system that Dell swapped.

It might just be you hard drive is dying. .See the first link to test the hard drive. Seatools for windows if you can run windows or seatols for Dos to run from a bootable cd/usb.
Or you computer is overheating and needs to has the inside cleaned out. See the second link.
If it is that old it is not worth fixing or upgrading beyond a new hard drive.

How old is it? If it's quite new, I'd bring it in to a repair shop to see what they can do. It may cost you quite a bit, but it could save you a PC
