Does bio oil help on self harm scars?

I stopped cutting but i have scars thier not really deep but thier pink and sorta lifted. I got bio oil. How long will it take and how well will it work…its on my arms if that makes a difforance

    I have new and old scars and bio-oil is the best. I know people who have used other people who have used other things such as Mederma and they did not work as well. Read the directions and be patient. It usually takes a few months to really see a difference, but it's worth it. So glad you stopped cutting.

    If that doesn't help, ask a dermatologist for samples of cream that heals scars. I think it's called Strivecten.
