How to help Boston Marathon victims?

I live pretty close to there, and I wanted to do something to help the marathon victims. Originally I wanted to donate blood, but I'm only 15 so I can't (you have to be at least 16 to donate). Any idea what other things I could do? I really want to help, somehow, the whole thing is so sad and I feel awful sitting here doing nothing.

You sound like a patriotic teen Kate. Being 15 there is not much you can do at the moment. It sounds old fashioned, but staying calm, and studying hard at school at the moment so you can get good grades and make your contribution in the future, is probably your most constructive contribution at the moment. Trying to build a team spirit among your friends at the moment will help too, America always needs team spirit.

Donate blood and touch the purple go for recommendations. the different charities will skim too plenty off the ideal of the donations. in case you are able to no longer placed it into the palms of the individuals who prefer it, those are the two suited materials.
