What is the point of creating humanity if you are all knowing?

If you are all knowing, you know the exact step and move each human will take. You know where each particle of matter of the universe is. You know EXACTLY how everything will happen. Every 0 and every 1 from one end of the universe to the other end.

His plans also screw up. A lot. Maybe God is just stupid. God, how much would that suck? (That was a joke, don't freak out.)

    Indeed...

    1. There is NO evidence which points to an imaginary psychopath in space suffering cerebral palsy, uncontrollably waving his arms about, creatin' stuff outa nothin' for no discernable reason.

    2. Just by the SIMPLE act of looking around anyone can see that shït happens to all and sundry regardless of ANY thought, deed or circumstance, exactly as if there was NO invisible space chappie pulling any strings at all.

The world works exactly as you'd expect if there were no god.

I have no evidence to back up my belief that Universe is constantly expanding and then contracting but it just makes more sense to me than an invisible sky guy who came from nowhere for no reason *poofing* all this out of nothing, just one time only.

It seems like a hell of a lot of effort to go to just so you can play psychotic games with mere humans offering them Heaven or Hell as a choice when everyone has not been given the same chances to pick the 'right box' AND ‘he’ already knows what the outcome is in any case… like, how stupid is that?

Gods and magic are the most ludicrous things primitive man ever came up with to explain anything... he may as well have suggested that a one-eyed Turtle with the assistance of half a dozen near-naked Flamingos did it... ;)

Bill Hicks: Eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions god's infinite love.

W C Easttom: God says, do what you wish, but make the wrong choice and you will be tortured for eternity in hell.

That sir, is not free will.

It would be akin to a man telling his girlfriend, do what you wish, but if you choose to leave me, I will track you down and blow your brains out.

When a man says this we call him a psychopath and cry out for his gaoling or death.

When god says the same we call him 'loving' and build churches in his honour.

It's sad... seeing so many people still bedevilled, bewildered, bewitched and beset by primitive, superstitious nonsense that slithered outa the deserts of the Middle East soooo long ago.

Most people can't explain in detail how a microwave works ... so what makes you think you can explain an all-knowing and all-powerful God whose thoughts are far above yours?

That's one of the major faults of humans, we want to be able to explain everything. God said to come to Him by faith, not when you had everything figured out, because you never will.

I don't believe in a traditional, theistic, omniscient god.

But I believe we are all one, and that we are all manifestations of the divine, if you want to call it that.

As for why eternity is playing this game with itself, I do not know. But if I were to guess, I would think that either we're an experiment of sorts, or this is eternity's way of entertaining itself, or it is all due to the immense beauty that occurs when we finally realize what we truly are, and we get to return to the light.

That's my take on it. :)

what if a movie producer went to all the time and expense - months or years and millions of dollars - only to leave his final production in a can on the shelf

    how silly that would be

    same with God

Maybe his poker games became redundant and he decided, "hey, let's make a live Barbie and Ken doll"

    That was a joke too.
