Help Naming Character?
I have the name of my main character for my fantasy story. She is called Kateryn Swan, her brother Lorenzo Swan but I cannot think of a name for her younger sister, mother or father. Her sister has very long blonde hair and bright blue eyes, and is about ten years old.
Her mother is mentally insane to say the least and has bright red hair and green eyes as well as being very elegent.
Her father a king who is also a knight and lost in battle. He is over six feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
Thanks to anyone who has any ideas for the names.

If you are going to write, you need to be able to come up with your own names.
Do what the pros do. Google "baby names" and look through all the wonderful sites. You can find names from evey nation, every time period.

Sister:
Ashley Swan OR Katie Swan
Mother:
Vivienne Swan OR Eleanor Swan
Father:
Alcindor Swan OR Thaddeus Swan

For the younger sister I would say that her name should be cutesy and elegant. So maybe something along the lines of: Lilian, Aila, Sebastiana (meaning adored),
The Father I believe should have a strong name: Adair (LOVE IT), Aiden, Cadell (which means the spirit of battle!!!), Calder, Leith ( if you wanna be ironic about it- sense it means meadow..lol),
The mother I believe needs a name that reflects her personality: Blaine, Levena, Simona, Maddelena

Please don't hate me or anything buttt! I really think a different last name could do you some good. Swan is a generic last name and makes my think of Twilight... please don't associate yourself with that! lol
But just from your character descriptions, I would wanna read this book. SO if you are going to put it up on wattpad or something.. get it published.. let me know! I totally wanna read it!

Since you want names based on their appearance, how about Blondie for the younger sister, Maddy for the mother, and Big Kahuna for the father.

I don't see what physical descriptions have much to do with anything, unless you're trying to name your character based off of it. Have you tried looking up names by meaning? behindthename is a great site to look for names. You can also mix two names together to make one name as well and all that.
