How long does it take to get addicted to dxm?

please no lectures. but i wanted to know how often/much i would have to take dxm to get the long term side effects. (depression, trouble learning, loss of coordination etc.) Thanks.

Update:

will i get these effects if i never exceed the first or second plateau?
