"My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."
—Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
Oddly, the Wikipedia quote is a good introduction. She was born in Russia, and as a child she saw the rise of communism. She escaped to America as soon as she could. She was baffled to find here communism sympathizers, and meditated on these matters. She decided that philosophy had not developed properly, and she presented her ideas to fill the gaps. Her novel Atlas Shrugged presents her defense of the businessman, her novel The Fountainhead presents her view of the ideal man. These books were not published for the academics, but for the general public, and were best sellers in her day. The second novel was made into a movie with the big stars of the time. The first novel was made into a movie a few years ago. The books still sell sixty years after first publication, which is remarkable when you consider that most novels are forgotten a few months after publication. She wrote other books to present her ideas. Even today, people are moved by her ideas, and she has devoted admirers.

"the entire most richest most triumphant men and women have adopted and or are Objectivists." provide supporting evidence for this first announcement, or your whole argument falls aside. "Is it considering that the realities of this world that Ayn Rand explains is just too harsh in your Liberal Worldview? Or is it too proper and spot on in this Capitalist nation referred to as the USA." i'm an atheist who lives in the USA. I suppose that liberalism and socialism are favorable; they tend to be the political philosophies that embody compassion, tolerance, empathy, and humanity. They allow us to aid others. The foremost reason that I disagree with Rands' philosophy is that she espouses it in a vacuum. That's, for it to work, each human being needs to be born into the identical social conditions and with the equal strengths and mind. It can be a heck of loads easier to be an Objectivist when your dermis is white, your gender is male, you're born with a silver spoon to your mouth, and you are vibrant adequate to get into Harvard.
