Do I need to have seen all the Fast & Furious Movies?

OK, so I have only seen the first Fast & Furious movie, I am interested in seeing Fast Five and then be ready for Fast & Furious 6. It seems like the Tokyo Drift, 2 Fast 2 Furious and the 4th movie all got bad scores comparibly or seemed like some were stand alone movies and not really part of the series. Will I be lost at all from watching the first one, and then jumping to Fast Five and going from there?

I'm a big fast fan and have seen all of them I have my favorites but I liked all of them. As for your question you should be good as long as you have watched fast one and fast five make sure you watch fast four (fast and furious) it correlates with the fast six story. Han from Tokyo drift is in it, Tokyo Drift actually takes place after all the fast series since Han dies in Tokyo Drift but you don't have to watch Tokyo Drift.

If you wanna get to know Ludacris's and Tyrese's character you should watch 2 fast 2 furious

yeah you'll be lost. you need to follow the order. tokyo drift is an exception though, since it is made like the last one.

my suggestion is to watch them in that order: the fast and the furious, 2 fast to furious, fast & furious, fast five then tokyo drift
