How many countries in Europe did not have colonies in Africa or America?

    Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Andorra, San Marino, Monte Carlo, The Vatican, Finland, Poland, Latvia, Luxembourg,

    Russia had Alaska

    Sweden had a colony that became Delaware.

    Denmark has Greenland

    The Netherlands had New Amsterdam, and drove out the swedes before the English took over.

    France

    England.

    Scotland tried to create a colony, but they do not count.

    Spain

    Portugal

    Belgium had the congo

    Prussia, but Germany did have african colonies.

    The only major country that did not have a colony is Austrian Empire/Austrian Hungarian Empire

    Well, we Poland didn't have had any.

    Austria-Hungary

    The rest did have some colonies, even Denmark and Norway (from a short time in Africa).
